Q: What do you wish your customers knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A: Here’s the biggest & most important secret I wish everyone hiring a contractor knew: Many contractors will submit low ball estimates – they’re able to do this because they purposely omit numerous, necessary items – only to hit you later on with inflated change orders once hired. Make sure when shopping for a contractor, that all estimates include the same scope of work — so you can truly “compare apples with apples”.
